Send Files from Windows / Linux to Android with High Speed

The activity of sending files is certainly something we do very often. Starting from sending pictures, songs, applications or even movies. Sending files is what we usually do from a computer to a smartphone or from a smartphone to a computer. In sending these files there are many ways that we can do, such as using a Bluetooth connection, USB, Google Drive, share it and others. Using google drive and similar online storage is easy, but if your internet connection is slow it will certainly take a very long time.

To send and receive files quickly between devices we can do with a WiFi connection. There are many applications available on the google play store, for example, SHAREit. But my experience in using SHAREit is that it is very difficult to send files between devices even though the connection is connected.

Well, there is an application called AirDroid that I have tried and is running smoothly and quickly. We just simply use the same wifi network on the device, and we will be connected quickly and easily. AirDroid can easily be used to send files from the Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems to Android or from Android to Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.

The following are the steps in using AirDroid in full:

AirDroid Software Preparation:

In using AirDroid we need an application installed on an Android device and an internet connection to open the AirDroid website.

• Download AirDroid from the App Store for IOS here.
• Install AirDroid on a smartphone.
• If you are using Windows or Mac OS.

 

Steps to Connect Computers and Smartphones:

AirDroid on a computer can use the desktop client application or through the Airdroid website itself. There is no difference in transfer speed between desktop and website, but to use a website, of course, we must have an internet connection in order to open the page. In the following tutorial, I will use AirDroid Web to send files because we can do it on any computer without software installation and so on. Here are the steps:

• Activate smartphone Hotspot then connect the hotspot to our computer. Hotspot here serves as a place for data exchange to occur.
• Open the AirDroid application on our Android or IOS smartphone.

• Steps for Sending and Receiving Files

• AirDroid has many features that can be used. Starting from sending files, searching for mobile phones, screenshots, SMS, to the camera features also exist in this application. Following are the steps in sending and receiving files on a computer to Android and vice versa:
• On the computer, select the file you want to transfer to Android.
• • If the file is an image, then select Photos.
  • If the file is a video, then select Videos.
  • If the file is mp3 music, then select music.
  • If the file has another file extension, then select files.
  • Done.
